Word of the day: Tranki

tranki

Just now on twitter, I described as tranki the Chitrili show on Friday night in Art Factory Bar, meaning it had a good vibe/buena onda; we were all chillin’ and having a relaxing kind of night. ‘Course later we went to The Red Door and all that went out the window but until then… it was all good.

The slang word tranki is derived from the slightly more formal word tranquilo, meaning basically the same thing: calm, peaceful, tranquil.
